Ordering afternoon teas
When placing an order of either light afternoon tea, classic afternoon tea or tea exquisite we require a 20% deposit. This is payable upon placement of your order and we accept the following methods of payment:
Cash upon delivery
Deposits will not be refunded if orders are cancelled within 2 days of the delivery date.
Deliveries are available six days a week; Tuesday-Saturday.
Sunday bookings are limited and on evenings only.
To avoid disappointment, please book at least 5 days in advance. For groups larger than eight, discounts are available.
When ordering one of our specialities please place your order at least 3 days in advance. You can pay by bank transfer, paypal or cash upon delivery.
*Extra dietary requirements such as gluten free or lactose free are an additional £2 per person.
Delivery is free within a 10 mile radius of Horsforth, Leeds. After this, there is an additional charge of 45 pence per mile. Upon delivery we will ask you to sign off that you have received the hamper/items and china in good condition.
Upon delivery we will also arrange a collection date and time with you (usually within 48 hours of delivery).
When hiring our cake-stands a minimum order of 4 is required. If you would like to hire cake-stands simply send us an email with the names of the cake-stands, your name, address, telephone number and date required. Please read through our terms and conditions below before placing an order.
*Please note that there will be a charge for any missing parts to any individual cake-stand; this includes screws and washers.
When enjoying the use of our china do please take care.
Due to its vintage nature there may be signs of wear on the silver and gold gilt. Bear in mind that there is no uniformity and so crockery will come in a variety of colours and sizes.
When you have finished your MillerSucré afternoon tea, we do ask for any sticky/ dried on food residue to be wiped off just using water-wet kitchen paper (no chemicals).
*Under no circumstances should any of our crockery and cutlery be placed in a microwave, electric or gas oven or dishwasher. Please do not attempt to disassemble delivered cakestands.
**Please be mindful that any breakages to or losses of the crockery/hamper will require a charge.
MillerSucré cannot be held responsible for any damage or injury caused by any item hired, goods are hired under the customer's own responsibility.
MillerSucré kitchen is a registered kitchen with a food standards agency.
Our bakers are qualified and hold a food hygiene certificate.
Our ingredients are locally sourced here in Yorkshire.
Our menus are seasonal.
